Help Goji Cereal Meet Their Goal

Posted on 16 December 2009 by abby

Remember Maya’s review of Goji custom artisanal cereal from last year?

Are you a fan of [me] and goji on Facebook yet? NO? Why not? This is a brand that deserves to grow!  When Alexander told us about their goal to reach 25,000 Facebook fans, we said we’d help spread the word.  [Me] and goji is still one of our favorite gift ideas so when they offered us another canister in exchange for telling you guys about their goal, we said yes right away. Join their group to get news, insight into their sweet company, and special promotions, and then hop on over to [me] and goji to get a great gift for yourself or someone you love. It’s unique, it’s healthy, it’s attractive (you can put a picture of yourself on the slick canister now), and it tastes good. If creating your own unique mix overwhelms you, check out their recommendations page for already-created mixes that sound delicious. Eat up!

P.S. [me] and goji gave us some cereal for free.

Plush Puffs Gourmet Marshmallows

Posted on 21 September 2009 by Lena

Plush Puffs Gourmet Marshmallows are hand-made and all natural. They have a lot of different flavors and there are recipes you can try!

2009plushpuffs04lg

We tried Vanilla Bean, Simply S’Mores, and Caramel Swirl. My favorite Plush Puff was the Simply S’mores one! I didn’t like the Vanilla Bean one or the Caramel Swirl. I don’t like caramel! Liberty doesn’t like any kind of marshmallows! Maya pretty much liked them all and I think adults would like them.

Casa Di Bertacchi Meatballs

Posted on 18 September 2009 by Liberty

I used Casa Di Bertacchi meatballs to make Open-Faced Meatball Subs from the book 101 Things to do with Meatballs by Stephanie Ashcraft.

The subs were super yummy! It was really easy to make them! We also made Teriyaki meatballs from the same cookbook, but they were disgusting.  The cookbook says the the seasonings in the meatballs don’t overpower the other flavors in the recipes, but that’s not true. When we made the Teriyaki meatballs we could taste the Italian seasoning in the meatballs, and it didn’t mix well with the teriyaki… :P Stick with Italian recipes with Italian meatballs or get non-Italian meatballs for non-Italian recipes.

SeaPak Tilapia Tenders

Posted on 05 May 2009 by Lena

SeaPak’s Tilapia Tenders are very good and it’s rare that i like them because i used to only like tuna! And everyone call Kroger and tell them to carry the Tilapia Tenders because right now we can’t buy them there! We can only buy them at Wal-Mart and that’s not where we shop! They are even better then tuna!! So buy them now!!! And go to SeaPak’s website for more info and recipes!

Farm Rich and SeaPak Food!

Posted on 29 January 2009 by Liberty

Rich Products sent us some coupons to try some of their yummy foods. Today we tried Farm Rich Mini Stuffed Pizza Slices. They were easy to make because all you do is take ‘em out of the freezer and put them in the  oven!! AND THEY’RE YUMMY!! Oh make sure you turn the oven on though.

Farm Rich has a bunch of other food too and we can’t wait to try all of it! They even have Mini Paninis and Mini Quesadillas. YUM! Kroger didn’t have them, but you can get them at Costco and places like that. We’re getting some for when we don’t have lots of time to make lunch! I hope we never have lots of time to make lunch!

Also, my mom tried some shrimp and salmon from SeaPak and she said it was good but I don’t believe her cuz I don’t like shrimp and salmon. I don’t like things like that. Only tuna. If you like that kind of thing, here’s what the company says about the Salmon Burgers, Salmon Fillets, and Ahi Tuna Steaks:

SeaPak’s “Seafood for the Grill” products are delicious, easy to prepare, and healthy.  Seafood, as you know is a great source of lean protein and essential Omega-3 fatty acids.  SeaPak prepares each product without additives or preservatives.  It is a terrific way for families to enjoy the all-natural benefits of seafood, the fun of home grilling, and the pleasure and pride of serving an impressive meal.
