Woogi World Music Video

Posted on 26 February 2010 by Liberty

This is the first time I made a music video with lyrics on it! Hope you like it! It was really hard, because Windows Movie Maker kept freezing, and when I open the saved file the song always got short, and it messed it up, but I finally finished it. =]

Silly Grown-Ups, Punk is For Kids by Jam Toast

Posted on 14 November 2008 by abby

You might not know this about us, but we get a lot of pitches to review kids’ CDs and we usually reject them all. Because they’re lame. But Jam Toast’s new CD, Silly Grown-Ups, Punk is For Kids, is the opposite of lame. The lyrics are funny and catchy, and the music is rockin’! Best of all, it doesn’t make you want to stab your eardrums until you’re deaf like most kids’ CDs. Bonus!
Here’s a little bit from the Jam Toast homepage:
Ever wish those Wheels on the Bus would just fall off once and for all? Jam Toast does.
Just because you’re a kid—or have kids—doesn’t mean you don’t crave the crashing guitars of high-energy rock and roll. Punk rock IS kids’ music, after all; it’s fun, fast and noisy—and it’s not afraid to colour outside the lines.

Admit it, more than once you’ve wished for the Wheels on the Bus to just fall off. This CD is the answer to your kid-friendly music problem. All of our reviewers liked it and their parents did, too. Now go buy one for a stocking stuffer for your little punk and all the other little punks you know.

Abby

(I know I’m a grown-up, but the kids needed a day off so I gave them one.)

With all of the new gadgets and whatnot out there, Maya and Madison remind us that there is something to be said for just turning up some really good music and moving all around the living room.

Carole King has been a favorite around here since forevah!
