Stride Rite Natural Motion System Shoes

Posted on 13 May 2009 by abby

dimitrisshoesAfter we received our shoes, Dimitri, 15 months, and I took them on the road for a test drive. We put them on bright and early for a big day including play group and lunch with friends. So right off the bat Dimitri dumped the entire Cat’s water dish on his shoes, amazingly the water did not hamper them much, they wiped right off, saving me much time in my morning. The moment I walked into the room at play group several mothers were exclaiming about the cuteness of his shoes. They are very brightly colored and Dimitri tends to think of them as toys rather than clothing. Everyone seemed impressed with how sturdy they were yet they are still flexible enough for a Toddler to feel the floor. It was agreed that the universal downfall is the fact they do not come in larger sizes. Dimitri is wearing the largest size, a five. Many mothers that I talked to wanted their children in flexible sole footwear through their fifth birthday. Overall I am pleased with the shoes, a good crossover between infant and big kid shoes.

Maya was lucky enough to recieve these shoes from Little Soles. Aren’t they perfect for Valentine’s day? She tried them out and immediately fell in love.

Far from ordinary, Little Soles strives to be the go-to company for the footwear needs of the hippest babies and kids. And with five different lines of shoes, they have something for every child:

Baby Soles are crib shoes that are free of harmful dyes and toxins, the Urban Infants’ and Classic Infants’ lines both feature a unique flexible outsole so your little one experiences “superior durability, traction, and surface feel,” Squeaky Shoes include a fun squeak to encourage proper heel to toe step, and the Children’s line is designed for an “upscale look with remarkable endurance.” No matter what your kids’ style, you’ll find something to suit them. And Little Soles cares about your baby’s health!

“Little Soles Inc. has accepted the responsibility of informing consumers of the importance of recognizing and maintaining safety standards in footwear.   A major goal of Little Soles Inc. is to raise awareness by manufacturing with the consumer’s comfort, and safety, in mind.”

pediped Shoes

Posted on 12 December 2008 by Liberty

Maya loves her new Leilani shoes from pediped. They’re cute and comfy! And they’re endorsed by the American Podiatric Medical Association. Ok, Maya doesn’t know that part; she just knows they feel and look fabulous!

And you can feel fabulous when you help pediped meet their goal of raising $100,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by purchasing select styles between December 17-31.

pediped has lowered the price on select styles and will donate 50% of the sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“We believe in the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the good work it does with children,” said Angela Edgeworth, pediped president. “We are blessed with healthy children and feel compelled to make a difference in these children’s lives. We initially pledged $50,000, but thanks to the generosity of our
consumers, we are confident we can double that. We’ve reduced the price of our shoes, something we never do, as a way to give back to our consumers while benefiting this worthy charity. We hope everyone shares in the spirit of giving this season. Goodness knows people need it now more than ever. We should be thankful every day for what we have.”

Monkey-Toes Shoes

Posted on 05 December 2008 by abby

Ruth and Warren love their new adorable hand-painted shoes from Monkey-Toes! Ruth wears the ever-popular Little Lady mary janes, and Warren has the Silly Monkey tennis shoes. Ruth was more than willing to share her delight over both pairs of shoes. Warren, however, is a very private person and would not allow Kids Know Stuff to put him on the site. He assures us that he loves the curly laces and the silly faces on his shoes, but he would like to remain anonymous.
